Lego wanted to tell the story of Anakin Skywalker for the release of their new sets right before the release of Episode II. I got to travel to New York and direct three shorts, all using real Lego models. We storyboarded them out, and combined stop-motion with Flash to create very lightweight animations that would play on the web immediately. It made a massive impact at the time, and I still get messages about it to this day.

I was then asked to recreate the opening of Star Wars to promote Lego’s new Star Destroyer set. It came out pretty faithful. Watch your back ILM.
